# Garment Measurer and DXF to SVG conversion API - Garment Recycling

[The Garment-to-Garment recycling design tool](http://z.umn.edu/designtshirt?ref=justin.geesl.in) relies on two cloud-based API endpoints, one for converting a photo of a garment into a shape (SVG) and another for converting the new garment's pattern pieces to a shape.

Photo to SVG conversion - Accepts the URL of a photo of a garment. The garment must be photographed on a shape of known dimensions, like a 30cm^2 of cotton duck canvas.
